“Before Northlands started working with Rede, we had no energy management plan at all. We just paid our utilities as they came in and we had a lot of older equipment. We recognized quickly that we can save money with an energy management program. With Rede, we have moved forward with an energy charter for the school division that now guides everything we do. The energy charter was instrumental in getting us organized. A number of schools have been completely retrofitted in lighting, and that has translated into savings in our yearly utility budget. We can already see improvements in our utility records, 3 to 5 months from when the installs were done.”
